Linn Academy 2019

Linn Academy Main Stage

Linn Academy 2019 impressed its attendees, putting on a performance which stands apart from other industry events and conferences.

Taking place at Birmingham’s ICC and hosting more than 1,000 guests, the venue was larger than it was the previous year, with the last Linn Academy event being located at the Vox.

With huge production value, the Academy Stage saw light shows, smoke machines and a cinema-sized screen count down to the beginning of the event. Hosted by Jeremy Miller of Sticky Branding, the importance of building trust with customers was highlighted, also giving the audience a glimpse into everything to come for the rest of the day.

An impressive agenda followed, with the speaker programme on the Academy Stage including Matthew Syed of Black Box Thinking, a panel on online marketplaces and Marcus Sheridan. Every speaker gave the audience the opportunity to get involved and ask their questions, using the interactive Slido app.

While the Academy Stage continued its busy schedule, the Spotlight Stage had panels and speakers running simultaneously, all designed to help retailers grow their success and navigate their way most effectively around the Linnworks platform.

Lunch saw attendees have the chance to network, with a large refreshments area and plenty of suppliers to visit before heading back to the stage areas.

The event ended on a high, with Karren Brady taking to the Academy Stage to speak about the dynamics of successful businesses, how you can use staff creativity to benefit companies and her own experiences in business.

Overall, Linn Academy 2019 was an event like no other, providing practical insights for online sellers, face-to-face help from industry professionals, and access to a thriving community.

Returning for its eighth year, Linn Academy 2020 will bring together world-class keynote speakers, eCommerce specialists and global brands to inspire you and keep growing your online business.
